Eight Week Introduction to Soft Pastels
The themes of land, sky and sea will be covered, spending two weeks on each theme creating two paintings per theme.

After an introduction to the medium and how it is best used, each session begins with the following: • Composition and Design • Creating a Colour palette • Blocking in • Underpainting • Exploring contrast • Adding layers • Finishing details.

Explore techniques to create vibrant and atmospheric landscapes.

Materials are not provided however a share box is available for those new to Soft Pastels
We have a lovely space in the new build Community centre that is accessed by the rear car park. (There is free parking on site for members of the workshop) Refreshments are available throughout the workshop
